One of the most complete and internationally renowned Spanish musicians of his generation. He has conducted, among others, the Spaincellence Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra de Chambre de Luxembourg and the United Nations Youth Ensemble. Artistic Director of the Atlántida Symphony Orchestra and various international music festivals in Spain.

As a composer he has premièred more than 25 works in 8 countries. He has been involved in five recording projects, two as a composer, one as a conductor and two as part of Iberian & Klavier piano duo. As a pianist he has performed in renowned venues and festivals in cities such as New York (Carnegie Hall), London (St. Pancras Church), Paris (St. Mary), Florence, Lisbon (Palacio de Foz) and Brussels, and extensively around Spain (National Auditorium, Miguel Delibes Auditorium, Monumental Theatre, Juan March Foundation, etc.).

Tévar has been invited to give master classes in American universities, festivals and schools of music, and sits on the panel of several prestigious composition, chamber music and piano competitions such as the Jean Français in Paris. He is an Associate Professor at the Teresa Berganza School of Music in Madrid. He has collaborated with artists, soloists and dancers of great international renown.
